As we age, we may be finding that we, and our friends and family, are being affected by debilitating conditions like stress, aching joints, fatigue, brain fog, sleep disorders, and yes even chronic diseases such as diabetes, depression, heart disease and cancer.  But are these really "normal"?  Are we really doing all that we can to slow down and even reverse this downward spiral?

What if I told you that you CAN live a resilient life, with a future full of energy, abundant health, and excitement for the days ahead?

I have always been fascinated by the human body and mind, with our potential for excellence.  As kids, we have unlimited energy and a belief that what’s in store for us will be wonderful.  That we can do and be anything we want!  Somehow those promises begin to fade when the “real world” of adulthood takes hold.  And despite all the time and energy we focus on living the best we know how, the years add up and we see declines in our health, energy and abilities.  

I remember my doctor telling me in my forties, when I said that my memory wasn’t as good as it used to be, that I was “just getting old!”  As if I should just accept the inevitable -- that the older I get, it’s natural that my body and mind will wear out, and that I will need to give up the activities I enjoy.  

What if I told you that there’s more that you can do?  Are you prepared to defy conventional wisdom?  To undertake new habits, practices and strategies that will begin to release a lifetime of accumulated toxins and deficiencies -- the very toxins and deficiencies that have led to our downward health spiral -- in both body and mind?  By understanding how the mind and body actually work, we can implement habits and strategies that will make a difference!  Strategies that will rebuild the health of our many body systems, most especially our brains!

So what is RESILIENCE?  It is the capacity to recover quickly and cope with the difficulties and resulting stress, both physical and mental, that come from the events, setbacks and barriers of 21st Century living.  Resilience is “advancing despite adversity”.  And Resilience allows us to continue living out our life’s purpose.  

What are those new habits, practices and strategies that will allow us to turn away from our unhealthy lifestyles and choices, and begin to build health and resilience?  Many are pulled from both a cutting-edge, science-based approach to Holistic Nutrition (Just Eat Real Food!) and from the ancient practices of Yoga and Ayurveda, which are primarily teachings designed to bring the body back into balance, and develop our full human potential--physically, mentally, emotionally, energetically and spiritually.  

Yes, this may seem RADICAL.  Yes, you will need to rethink how you live your life.  But just think of the rewards!  A life of balance, energy and calmness, that will encourage you to live in alignment with nature, and to ensure optimal health, mental clarity and longevity.
